It was an unforgettable evening at the 2025 Tribute Dinner honoring the culinary genius Dominique Crenn and the acclaimed vintner Gérard Bertrand, as part of The New York Times Dinner Series at the Loews Miami Beach. This exclusive event was a grand celebration of exceptional talent and artistry in both the kitchen and the vineyard.
Dominique Crenn, the first female chef in the U.S. to earn three Michelin stars, is celebrated for her innovative and poetic approach to French cuisine. Her visionary dishes, marked by artistry and excellence, offer a captivating blend of creativity and taste. Gérard Bertrand, a trailblazer in winemaking, brings his expertise in crafting exceptional wines from the Languedoc region of France, renowned for their unparalleled depth and character.
For the evening, we assembled an extraordinary roster of culinary icons who orchestrated a symphony for your senses. Joining Chef Crenn were:
Alain Ducasse, one of only two chefs worldwide to have earned over 20 Michelin stars, a true luminary in the culinary world.
Gastón Acurio, a pioneer of Peruvian cuisine and the force behind the globally acclaimed Astrid & Gastón.

This year, the Festival partnered with MAPP and MAPP founder Joanna James to curate an all-female chef line-up for the dinner’s reception paying tribute to Dominique Crenn.
