MAPP Advocates for POLICIES that support the Future Workforce

When we VALUE WOMEN, FAMILIES AND SMALL BUSINESSES, we FUEL our economy.

We host an annual Advocacy Summit
on Capital Hill

Gathering industry leaders of chefs and restaurateurs, legislators, educators, activists, Fortune 500 companies and media to prioritize critical policies that build financial independence for women, families and the entire workforce of businesses that rely on them.

MAPP believes we can transform corporate culture and build stronger bridges of skilled labor to businesses through our RoadMAPP™ program.
We work with businesses ranging in size from Fortune 500 to independent restaurants, to strengthen skills training and increase standards.

When we support the future workforce we create better business practices that lead to long term careers with increased profit.

Capitol Hill 2025

The Future Forum Caucus with Rep. Brittany Petterson hosted a roundtable discussion with MAPP and our members of restaurateurs and celebrity chefs. MAPP founder Joanna James emphasized that “without much needed governmental policies and support that align with the business operations of independent restaurants— it is unlikely for these small businesses to survive.”

MAPP & the NPWF emphasized how policies like the Family Act are good for business, and when we value women and families, we fuel the economy.
